12/04/08 - Hartley Jackson Wins NWA AUSTRALIAN CHAMPIONSHIP
Hartley Jackson defeated Mikey Nicholls in a bloody encounter to win the NWA Australian Championship in Perth last weekend. Jackson is bringing the belt home to Adelaide next weekend, but we will not see a title defence in Adelaide anytime soon. Jackson lost his wrestling contract in EPW Adelaide late last year, along with Bruce Mills, after being defeated in a ladder match at Re-Emerging. This is a huge blow to EPW Adelaide fans, as they will not be able to see the only globally recognised championship in Australia be defended in their state.
